Kevin Whitlock, Owner of UTT is also the VP of Global Forestry for Global Green Carbon Corporation, a start-up company developing carbon financed AFOLU projects with a focus on avoided deforestation (REDD), and improved/sustainable forest management (IFM & SFM) in Africa, Central and South America.

UTT has designed and implemented several forest carbon offset projects. Creating mechanisms for municipalities to offset GHG emissions in the reserve acquisition area by creating incentives to purchase forest/woodland carbon offsets through land protection and management.

The goal of a forest carbon offset project is to make a contribution to mitigating human-caused climate change (also referred to as “Global Warming‟) through participation in the Off-set Carbon Markets.
